Patrick W. Barr, MD
Nuclear Medicine
Dr. Barr joined our practice in 2011, when Southwest Imaging and Interventional Specialists (SIIS) and Radiology Associates of Tarrant County merged to form Radiology Associates of North Texas. At the time of the merger, Dr. Barr served as President of SIIS.
Dr. Barr graduated with Bachelors and Masters of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University. He attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and completed his residency in Nuclear Radiology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
He is board certified by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine, and is an attending staff member at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, where he is Chief of the Department of Nuclear Medicine. He is also Medical Director of Southwest Diagnostic Center for Molecular Imaging. His professional affiliations include the Society of Nuclear Medicine, the Radiological Society of North America, the American College of Radiology, the Texas Medical Association, and the Dallas County Medical Society.
