Robert Wood, M.D.

Wood Robert C. Wood, M.D., joined Radiology Associates of North Texas, in January 2010, when Fort Worth Diagnostic Radiology joined Radiology Associates.  He has been a radiologist in Fort Worth, Texas, since 1994.  Dr. Wood received his BS in Biology from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, in 1984.  He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1988.  Dr. Wood completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN, in 1992.  He completed a Fellowship in Neuroradiology in 1994, at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University in St. Louis.

Dr. Wood is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology and the subspecialty of Neuroradiology.  He is a Senior Member of the American Society of Neuroradiology.  Dr. Wood’s honors include Eagle Scout, Dean’s List and graduating with Honors from Baylor University, Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society from University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.  He has published medical articles and has professional affiliations with American Society of Neuroradiology, American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society, American Board of Radiology, American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association and the Tarrant County Medical Society.
